LTS will continue to offer an outward-facing online service for end users via the world wide web. However, access to some areas of the service will require users to sign on to Glow.
The LTS Online Service will continue to develop and publish content to support the delivery of the curriculum and disseminate information and resources covering a wide range of activity within Scottish education and there will be special emphasis on providing content which reflects A Curriculum for Excellence and supports the continuing professional development of teachers and other educators.
SEED has funded a range of content for the LTS Online Service over the past two years, produced by both LTS and external content providers. It includes resources to support Gaelic medium education, the teaching of Scottish history, 5-14 mathematics, and the use of ICT in the classroom, as well as new information literacy and study skills resources, which will be available soon.
