Dawn Adams
I have teaching experience at a variety of stages and before joining the Glow team I worked at Mearns Primary in East Renfrewshire. I feel inspired by the use of ICT to enhance learning and teaching and had the opportunity to work on a SEED funded project called GridClub from 2002 until 2006. This involved promoting and embedding the use of an educational online learning environment within primary schools across Scotland.
Ian Hoffman
I have just finished a two-year stint as Senior Development Officer ICT heading up City of Edinburgh’s educational ICT team. Prior to that I have worked as an ICT Coordinator in two Edinburgh high schools and acted as a facilitator to the online MasterClass community. I am very excited about joining a project aimed at providing teachers and pupils across Scotland with 21st-century tools for developing learning.

Karen-Ann MacAlpine
I originally trained as an English teacher but moved on to a promoted post in Support for Learning. This led me to teach in various types of establishments in Scotland for nine years. I began work as an Educational Consultant with Glow in January 2006. Previously I worked in a similar role for PLATO Learning and with RM in Australia promoting the use of teaching and learning products.

Andrew Sharkey
I began work with Glow in November 2005, having previously taught in secondary schools in the Central belt. At Whitburn Academy I was involved in using technology in a range of innovative ways to help pupils and teachers. During my time in teaching I saw the difference technology can make to both learning and teaching, especially web technologies, hence my keenness to be involved with Glow!

Paul Smyth
I joined the Glow team in July 2005 having previously worked for RM in a variety of roles. I graduated from Aberdeen University and did my PGCE at Northern College in Aberdeen. I then worked for several years in London including a spell in an EBD school. I returned home to work in a primary school in Edinburgh and was then seconded to work as an ICT development officer.
