We now have Glow live in 16 local authorities and a total of 665 mentors have participated in Glow training. Recent events in a number of authorities have enabled us to talk to many practitioners about Glow and we have also been gathering lots of ideas about using Glow in classrooms across Scotland. If you know of any interesting work being undertaken with Glow, then please let us know. We continue to highlight the support that Glow can provide to implementing Curriculum for Excellence, as illustrated here by work in Aberdeenshire and with maths teachers. One of the key features of Glow relates to its ability to support learners outwith the classroom and outwith school hours - some interesting examples are highlighted below, along with never accepting ‘the dog ate my homework’ as an excuse any more!
