This area of the website will showcase different aspects of the Glow functionality. The aim is to provide an introduction to some of the features available within Glow, called Glow components, and explain how these can be used to enhance learning and teaching.

Each month, this area will be updated with an article on a Glow component. Articles will provide an overview on the component in question and and highlight some of the benefits.

Glow Groups - this component has a range of different features, such as online communities, virtual classrooms and shared areas for learning and collaboration.

Glow Chat is a method of communication using online chat rooms. It provides a more spontaneous and informal means for groups to communicate.

Glow Learn includes tools to organise and search for digital resources and courses, monitor student progress and provide learners with access to structured content. Glow Learn can be used at any time and any where with internet access.

Glow Mailing Lists can be used both to distribute information to large numbers of people and to facilitate and support discussion within a group.

Glow Meet is the web conferencing tool within Glow. It allows users to hold meetings, give live presentations or even teach classes through Glow.
